Big Plans for Hygeia Malaysia

As ASEAN begins to integrate the healthcare sectors of the member countries, Malaysia will begin to play an increasingly crucial role for foreign manufacturers as a gateway into this fast growing market. Hygeia Malaysia is working to be at the forefront of this integration through building on strategic partnerships with existing operators in other ASEAN member countries, while at the same time building out its own domestic operations with local partners.

For this purpose Hygeia Malaysia already established HyMed Manufacturing Sdn Bhd and HyPharm Healthcare Sdn Bhd in Malaysia and also holds shares in other companies abroad. HyMed is establishing local workshops in strategic locations in Malaysia to offer in-country warranty repairs for all HygeiaMedical branded products and also repair other brands. As further step HyMed will also begin to do local finishing and packing for Hygeia Malaysia. HyPharm is importing and distributing in-vitro tests, generic pharmaceuticals and components with view to start with establishing local manufacturing facilities by 2030.

Hygeia Malaysia furthermore functions as central quality control and transshipment hub of HygeiaMedical branded products and administrative centre of the Asia-Pacific operations of the Hygeia Group.
